L'Eroica

Since 1997, L'Eroica has been an example of the enhancement of environmental heritage, of a sustainable lifestyle, of clean cycling. The international success is overwhelming; as evidenced by the more than 8,000 registrants arriving from all over the world and the approximately 20,000 people who, on the first Sunday of October, make Gaiole in Chianti even more beautiful than usual. The longest route, the 209 kilometers long and about 4000 meters in altitude, is also a permanent route that can be used all year round, starting and finishing from Gaiole in Chianti.
